Timeline and tips for beautiful landscapes
Helping you prepare for the season

Spring
- Clean up: Time to remove all leftover fall and winter debris, clean up mulch beds and properly edge beds to prep for mulch installation.
- Mulch: One of the most beneficial practices for your commercial or residential landscape. Sharpens appearance of beds, reduces need for water and pre-emergent, helps control weeds.
- Mow: When grass pushes in the spring, it’s important to maintain proper height so turf can out-compete weeds and prevents browning. This process leaves turf looking in optimal condition.
- Fertilize: The right amount of lawn food in early spring helps your grass come out of dormancy while not causing too much growth, yet still maintains a lush green color. Weed control Time to put down the barrier on your lawn and in your ornamental beds to control those pesky weeds.

Summer
- Maintenance: We stay diligent about your property to gauge what it needs when, since temperature and rain can vary from week to week.
- Plant: Time to add a gorgeous burst of color with annuals installation.
- Prune: Cut back that spring growth
- Mow: During the hot, dry periods, grass many only need to be cut every 2-3 months

Fall
- Fertilize: Fall is a key time to fertilize, helping to your lawn from summer stress.
- Mow: As temperatures drop, lawns grow faster and will need a weekly cut through season’s end.
- Clean up: We start cleaning up leaves, removing branches and debris and sprucing up beds to keep your property looking its best.
- Aerate: Coming out of summer, it’s time to help water and nutrients to reach the roots and strengthen your lawn.
- Plant: It’s the best time to install trees and shrubs. And add some tulips, daffodils, mums, pansy and Dianthus.
- Prune: As plants are dormant, prune them back hard, ridding them of old growth and rejuvenating them when they come back in spring.
